Second Design Draft

The Second draft design datum. This design an improvement compared to the first draft design. It has two uniquely designs stairs, the first being a cone space with the steps arranged in an unbalanced orientation. This links the upper studio to the exhibition space. The second set of stairs is the multi-steps glass frame stairs which mimics a spacecraft being attached to a sphere. This stair links both the lower studio to the upper studio and the exhibition space. The purpose of mimicking a spaceship is to link to Rick Swallow's work , Model for a Sunken Monument, which is the head of Darth Vader.

First Draft SketchUp

First SketchUp model with stair's design and sketches. The first stair is a simple U shape that links the lower studio to the exhibtion. The second stair s a simpe step stair that links the above studio space to the exhibition.

My favorite place

A place I go to, pretty much my own favorite place where I can go to relax, think and contemplate. The scenery is always a sight for sore eyes even when weather is both sad or happy. Its a place you have to go to and really appreciate the mix of sun and water.

Great Architecture

World's first "6 Star" hotel in Dubai, The Burj Al Arab. The design and architecture is incredibly beautiful and highlights the tradition of sailing in Dubai with the shape of the structure being a sail. The structure itself is a great engineering achievement situated on an artificial island out at sea.
