Mashup

The role of iconic women and their power is evident through their own unique profession. This can be said so by Australian international model Miranda Kerr, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and American author Helen Keller.

Miranda Kerr processes power through media endorsements such as with skin care product manufacturer, Tongue, where she works with the agency to create “unique content and stories” that will be used online in order to drive sales.

Angela Merkel has the power of politics, being the Chancellor for the country Germany. Having such high rank of importance, she has the role in managing and directing sensitive topics worldwide such as recently promising further decisive action to defend the euro against speculation, after months of prevarication in the wake of the financial problems in Greece.

Helen Keller is an influential author, although not in the same generation as Kerr and Merkel, her legacy still lives on, being an author, political activists and lecturer, living most her life being deaf and blind. Such respect for a woman, a statue was made in her honour depicts Keller as a child, at the famous pump where she learned her first word, “water.”
